Science & Technology

The All Party Parliamentary Group on Science & Technology in Agriculture was established on 11th March 2008. Chaired by David Kidney MP its objectives is to promote the positive contribution of science and technology in agriculture towards ensuring plentiful supplies of safe food, protecting and enhancing a diverse farmed environment and sustaining a viable and competitive rural economy.   It also aims to provide a forum for industry and other stakeholders to highlight policy, knowledge-based or regulatory barriers to their ability to access, develop or apply such innovation.
