NEW EUROPEAN PESTICIDE RULES POSE SERIOUS THREAT TO UK AGRICULTURE AND FOOD PRODUCTION AND WILL LEAD TO FURTHER FOOD PRICE INCREASES

The UK Pesticides Safety Directorate's latest report on the European Commission’s proposals for a new Pesticide Authorisation Regulation confirms that up to 23% of crop protection products could be removed from the market, resulting in a significant decline in crop yields and further food prices in the UK and across Europe.
